Doug is a seasoned Flute/Alto Flute/Tenor, Alto and Soprano Sax and EWI windist with a solid background in blues, fusion, jazz and funk. He produces midi music, studio and live recordings. Loves his wife with all his might, with an intense focus on family and the pursuit of God through Jesus Christ.

Born and raised in Rochester, now living in Albion NY, studied classic flute at Eastman Prep and attended Hochstein School of Music for flute, sax and theory. Doug has played in local clubs and studio sessions playing the blues, jazz-fusion and funk for the past forty years; Universal Rhythm, Manchild, Audioinflux, Miche Fambro, Jim Drew and sat in with Joe Beard & the Blues Union, Steve Grills and the Road Masters, the Rhythm Dogs, Dan Schmidt and the Shadows, Jimmie Highsmith Jr. and the Jimmie Highsmith Experience, Bruce Pitts and Company with Vincent Tyson, to name a few. Doug is currently committed to Cold Fusion Arts.

There are so many people involved in the evolution of Cold Fusion Arts the membership roster is replete with incredibly talented people who have brought life to this longitudinal study in musical insanity. This latest consort brings planned improvisation to the table as in ordered chaos. A framework is established to give the listener a resting place, Then the endless possibilities take audible form and return the listener safely to earth in the end... Come with us, Faith is our guide, Omnipotence is at hand, and we'll be Upright when we land...
